All the American Journal of Food Science and Technology (AJFST) articles are published with open access under the CC-BY Creative Commons attribution license (CC-BY, version 4.0). It refers that the author(s) retains copyright; however, the content is free to download, distribute, and adapt for commercial or non-commercial purposes, given appropriate attribution to the original article.

The author(s) grants a license to AJFST to publish, including displaying, copying, storing, and re-using the content upon submission. The CC-BY Creative Commons attribution license enables anyone to use the publication freely, giving appropriate attribution to the author(s) and citing AJFSTas the original source.
