Abstract

This study explores the effectiveness of peace education as a strategic tool for promoting electoral peace and mitigating election-related violence. By analyzing various peace education initiatives across diverse electoral contexts, the research highlights how targeted programs can foster tolerance, dialogue, and conflict resolution skills among voters, candidates, and electoral stakeholders. The study employed a mixed-methods approach to explore the role of peace education in promoting electoral peace and reducing election-related violence. The findings suggest that integrating peace education into electoral processes enhances social cohesion, reduces tensions, and contributes to peaceful democratic transitions.
