Digital leadership can facilitate the innovation of employees by enhancing access to valuable knowledge in the workplace. This paper focuses on analysing the connection between digital leadership and innovative work behaviour with knowledge-sharing capability acting as a mediator. We examine the 510 responses of questionnaires by partial least squares structural equation modelling. There are eight, six and seven indicators that measure digital leadership, knowledge-sharing capability and innovative work behaviour, respectively. The measurement scores demonstrate the good internal consistency, convergent and discriminant validity. Knowledge-sharing capability and innovative work behaviour are positively linked with digital leadership. There is a positive correlation between knowledge-sharing capability and innovative work behaviour as well. The direct relationship is positive, but the indirect relationship is important, which suggests complementary partial mediation. The model accounts 37.77 percent of the variation in the knowledge-sharing capability and 46.83 percent of the innovative work behaviour. Additional estimations of the individual dimensions of leadership are volatile, and they do not make up concrete findings with regard to their unique contribution. The results place knowledge-sharing ability as a valuable organisational process bridging leadership and innovation among employees. Managers ought to integrate online guidance alongside real-life plans to share and enact knowledge. The interpretation of causation by cross-sectional self-reports is limited. Future studies ought to look at the temporal order and evaluate dimensions of leadership with more extensive measures over time in organisations and groups.
