The effectiveness of operational team management largely depends on the clarity of role distribution, since ambiguity in functional boundaries weakens coordination, complicates accountability, and reduces the effectiveness of process monitoring. In this context, the purpose of the study is to provide a theoretical substantiation of role clarity as a basic element of operational management that ensures an adequate level of accountability, process control, and coherence of team interaction. The study adopts a conceptual and analytical approach, reviewing, comparing, and synthesizing scholarly works on role clarity, accountability, and process monitoring. The main result of the study is the development of the RCA-PM model, within which role clarity, accountability, process monitoring, and corrective coordination form an integrated practical framework for improving the effectiveness of operational team management. The model is additionally formalized as a multiplicative chain of normalized indicators and illustrated on hypothetical team configurations, which shows that the level of operational manageability is limited by the weakest element of the sequence rather than by the strongest.
